Waiting for very long

     Ever tried waiting in a place with nothing to do for 2 hours? Today I did exactly that. First of all, I didn't wait at home (obviously) because I would play video games all day. Secondly, I had nothing but a book and homework. My choices after finishing home work were limited. I had another hour and a half to go through. One, I could go out and play by running all over the place or read in the area with minimal lighting. I chose to read and suffered about an hour of back breaking leaning in random positions sometimes putting the book on the ground and bending down my neck ugh! Finally it was over and I hope it will never happen again/

The lettuce

    Tony Rabbit and Angela Bunny were best friends. One day Tony decided to hop outside and bring back some exotic vegetables from the other neighboring fields instead of taking it from their meadow. Eventually, Tony Rabbit found the prize he had wanted a huge lettuce plant just sitting there however it was 3 times heavier than Tony could carry. Tony couldn't go back or else another hungry rabbit might steal the lettuce(Tony is not strong compared to other rabbits). However, he couldn't take it back without going back to the burrow for a wagon. So he decided to wait under the logic that when his friends came he could ask them to get the wagon while he guarded the lettuce. Unfortunately, they all forgot (there are many rabbits in Tony's clan who lived in a burrow) and only Angela remembered but never got the chance to tell anyone and also had a phobia of unfamiliar places.

     Soon, winter arrived and Tony slept around the lettuce for warmth and ate from it when he was hungry. Eventually after winter the lettuce was finished and Tony had no reason to stay around. However when he came back he learned that their burrow was suffering from hunger and Tony never came back with food. Only a few members of the burrow survived the winter and worked out a plan if this were to happen again.

Art

     There was a time that when I wrote blog posts I would always add an image at the end I haven't done that in a long time. I think that the reason I stopped was because it was hard to remember. I also think that I don't write as often because sometimes things get a little boring not just for reading but also for writing. It also can take a long time just to get the picture down. I hope I can start to write with pictures sooner or later.

Movie Night Camping Trip

    This year I went to my school's annual movie night and camp out. This is important to me because I didn't go to last year's event because I had homework. The movie is different each year; however, it is normally a popular movie in the current year or so. So by the time the movies gets to be watched, most people have already watched it.

    On the day of the movie, I got most of what I needed to do done. After that we lightly packed, and took off to the school fields. I helped pitch the tent. I helped but partly forgot some steps. After helping set up I took a trip to the bathroom and the water fountain. When the announcement came that the movie would start in seven minutes, the music started, it played 5 songs for approximately 15 minutes. It felt like so much longer partly because the managers had to troubleshoot for 5 minutes. After a never ending period of time, the movie finally started. I enjoyed it and realized things I hadn't the first time I watched it. At the end though, it couldn't last forever and we had to go to sleep.

    Sleeping was the hardest part of the event. I slept soundly, but I woke up at 5:00am to go to the restroom.  I even decided to hold it for 30 minutes until I couldn't resist it. After that I played some handball and other things to entertain myself. I never went back to sleep.

    Finally it was time for breakfast and I got the best food as I was almost the first in line. I ate a doughnut, a strawberry cup, some yogurt, and also a croissant. I then also drank berry juice afterwards. I helped clean up. After that, I played "What time is it Mr. Fox?" and "Cherry Bomb" with someone else. Then we had to leave.

Why do so many numbers hate 8?
because 8 made many numbers a victim of cannibals.
There are 10 children at an elementary school Five Children just left. How many students are left?
9 students; Five Children is a single person.
Why can't people never not not not not not not not not not not eat pizza?
Never mind don't bother to count the negatives.
A tick-tock sound was heard throughout the classroom. Only one person can fix the clock. However when that one person was called to fix however he is the most normal person in class. How come only he can fix the clock?
because a different digital clock that ticked was in his private desk.

Sleeping late at night

    I wish I could sleep earlier at night. On a good day I can fall asleep by ten if I go to bed before 8:30pm. Even from 9:00-10:00 it still takes of long period of me rolling around in bed and changing locations before I fall asleep. In the morning, I'm wide awake, NOT. I'm so sleepy I may waste 3-10 minutes getting out of bed and changing. I cannot sleep early at all. The only times I ever fall asleep when I don't want to is during vacation return trips which in I end up feeling my med at 3 in the morning. Strangely I'm wide awake in the morning after it.  Well, let's say goodbye before I... doze off for the night.

     I cannot write anything today. My mom told me I have to write something, anything, as long as I write something even if it is something as short as two sentences. She told me to write these two lines: "I cannot write anything today. I hope I can write something tomorrow!" Basically that is what I just did except for some stuff in the middle and the end. I hope I can write something tomorrow. See you next day!

This Year's Spaghetti Dinner

        Every year, my sister's school has an annual Spaghetti Dinner event. It starts with an endlessly long line to get the food which is spaghetti, salad, and garlic bread. Then around the time the first people finish eating; desserts that people brought to the party are served to everyone waiting in line. Also alongside there is a lemonade station for drinks of lemonade. After eating is done most people go home or play in the fields. At 7:00 pm everyone goes home.

        I've been to two of these events, however I liked this one better for one no make that three reasons. When waiting in the super long line that actually snaked inside the building, I got to get my food already collected by Dad so I just had to make the no meat or meat choice on the spaghetti. I was one of the first ones finished and got dessert without waiting in a single line. To add to that I managed to get a second helping of garlic bread which I've never done before!

        I also played many fun games with three other people. We started with keep-away the ball from the other people. We then played monkey in the middle for a long time. Soon we got bored and played statues. We were all having so much fun that I forgot that at 7:00 we all  had to leave. As I left, I knew that I had had a great night.

However we sometimes work together,

As a brother, I help both of them
but rarely both at once.

"...sister spirit."She's been awfully quiet for a long time ... "BECAUSE I'M READING!!" I just asked her, "hello, can you talk to me now?" Finally she started talking again. Chess

I like to play chess. Today I went to chess camp. I played with 2 people today. I won one and lost one. On each game we learn at least two lessons. When I came we did a few tactics. I got 2/4 all correct. The others I got most correct. later I played a game and won. After reviewing it I was supposed to watch the little kids. After that we had a break where we played video games and watched tv. After that, I lost a game. Then we did 3 more tactics. I got 1 right. Then, we had another break.

Rocker land

   Once upon a time there was a land called Rockerland. Rockerland was a war torn world with vast empty, lifeless space everywhere except small fortified cities with little room for anything  Rockerland was full of creatures with a certain mark. This mark showed which alliance they belonged to. This mark could be changed if their alliance did. A change would give them the perks of that alliance. They also morphed into the host creature of the alliance if they were proven trustworthy. The alliances were one for each symbol in Rock, Paper, Scissors Upgraded. A few marks were laid on both wrists. These marks never changed so they could identify anyone if creatures wanted to.

    A groundhog named Burrow was born into the rock alliance, the dominant alliance of the whole world( which is why empty space is rocks and the name of this world is Rockerland). The groundhogs along with many underground creatures were considered servants of upper species. Creatures everywhere were given chances to rise to the top. There were only three chances to rise up a level from servants. The first was an academic test that could be taken anytime. The creature with the top score was passed into a upper class species as with all their descendants for a hundred years. The second chance was when they were in their middle ages an Olympics was held the winners were promoted with all descendants for a century. The third was a combination of both and could be taken anytime after the Olympics (Second chance.) Other "Alliances" had a different method but somewhat the same.

    Burrow's family was the only groundhog family not yet promoted in the century yet. The (natural) life span of all creatures was the same. The current war was everyone versus the rock alliance in an effort to overthrow them. However, those alliances did not trust each other and even though they worked together well a victory's spoils were not equally shared they fought against each other until the spoils were so small that all of it combined was less than each one had before.

   Often wars were short with a single battle up to 23 battles maximum. Most were over in a month. The time period between wars however was even shorter up to a few hours of peace.

   One day, Burrow decided not to work in any contest and gather efforts in stopping wars altogether. Peace efforts were made. All the alliances then turned on peace organizations. They were easily crushed by the alliances and Burrow and her friends were thrown in prison. Each day an animal was interrogated and tried, sometimes it was important, sometimes it was to make them choose how they wanted to die.

    The next day that same animal was killed. 5 died in the process before another war struck and each alliance took 3 members before turning on each other. After long periods of being held in prison, escaping, gathering the members, fighting again, and getting captured, Burrow tried a different approach and wrote on a surrvery. "Why do you fight?".  After no one knew the world became peaceful.

Our camping trip

    The last four days I went on a camping trip. We went with another family with 3 people (1 adult, two children) We had 6 people. The first day we went to Las Vegas. Normally, when we go to Las Vegas we go early (around 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.) The drive from where we live takes 4 hrs in ideal circumstances and 5-7 hrs with traffic. Once we arrived at 2 pm. This time however, we took off at 5:00 P.M. and with the traffic we arrived around midnight.  On the ride it was a fight until my sisters fell asleep. We slept at the Stratosphere Hotel. We went to the top of the hotel ( maybe) the tower is said to be 871 feet up from floor 108 the observation deck and a bit higher is 109 the roof assess deck with telescopes and 2 thrill rides. One where a roller coaster goes at high speed across a see-saw ramp. Another is an extreme version of a spinning seat ride which is very high up. Another on a higher floor where people ride up and down at almost double the height of the original floor. My dad tended to figure out how things worked by looking at it as he did with the Sky diving thrill ride.  We didn't want to go on any of the rides. (well, my sister wasn't too scared) We slept at 1:30 A.M. and woke up at 6:15 A.M. We also played with the luxury jacuzzi.

    At 7 we went on the car. This trip was from Las Vegas, NV to Page, AZ. We went from I-15 to cross Arizona and Utah border respectively. We then transferred to highway 9 at St. George and US 89-A at Hurricane. We crossed the border a couple times before transferring to US 89 (the GPS called it 89 loop for some reason) after that we crossed the border to UT again. Then back to AZ at the Colorado river bridge. We took a tour of the Upper Antelope Canyon which had many cool takeable photos because cameras distorted distance and light. We slept at Wahweap Campsite. I played chess with my friend and I lost the first game and drawed on the second with a neat trick.

 We then left and drove to Antelope Canyon Marina. We rented a boat that could seat 10 people. I learned how to drive a boat and swim with a lifejacket. We looked at the view and swam from time to time.We also played chess we were tied at the end of the day.We camped at a very spiky area with very uncomfortable conditions. The next day we hiked at Rainbow natural bridge national monument. I learned much about it. We then played chess he beat me 2-1. So he won one game more than me in the total course of the vacation. After returning the boat we told jokes and ate at Burger King before sleeping at home at 2 am.

The cotton field

  In the only country in a certain planet, there was a cotton field. The cotton field covered nearly the whole country except for lakes, rivers, seas, oceans, mines, mountains, and the forest. This world traded with another world with separate nations. They suffered in times of war because everything besides cotton, ore, oil, coal, wood, apples, and water was imported. They traded cotton because it was high quality and no person outside of the country could match the care that made it super high quality. In return they got, food, glue, airplanes, car, and almost everything they couldn't make or manufacture.

   The last world war in the other world brought a halt to its economy and its dependence on the other world caused many people to die. The people there avoided extinction by adapting and surviving so that they only needed to eat apples.  Tribes appeared and the nation split into many parts. The cotton field was destroyed over the wars. Over time the country had many resources by trading seeds and since the cotton field wasn't there anymore they had time and space to develop. However, the peaceful era of the cotton field was long gone and was went on and on taking a break for 3 years or so from a peace treaty, then restarting the fight.

   A boy who lived in the small nation known as sticks and stones were least developed. The boy worked hard with his tribe to rebuild the cotton field and sold cotton to other nations. They joined again as one and had all necessary survival resources and peace.

Graphic Novels

Recently, I prefer graphic novels over regular books. I think it is because they are quicker to read. Even though some pictures can show you what is going on, my dad says that you often only look at the pictures if it is specifically written that you should look at the pictures because it will help you understand the story or if the notes talk about the illustrations. He also said that it might be indirectly stated in the dialogue to urge you to look at the pictures. I think that if it was a short comic strip you may look at the pictures because the words don't show much in 9-12 scenes.

The cockroach song

   Once upon a time there was a cockroach this cockroach was very lonely but very talented. As the loneliest cockroach in the world not a single could acknowledge his ability and the cockroach sung lonely songs of sadness. The people who lived near her cockroachy house hated her sounds and called the cockroach Greennoying. Greennoying liked that name and used it in her songs. She learned the languages of many nearby animals and was fluent in 35 different animals' languages all of the species and subspecies included.  She translated her songs into all the languages, and one song she called, "Human language" was filled with insults to humans but when translated (somehow) the words got blurred up and it seemed like pure flattery to the language an animal heard it in except humans saw it with many, many, insults. "You're so dumb you made a scarecrow instead of shooting the crow. To a pig that doesn't know how to build with straw heard, "Ouya areyay osay umbday ouya ademay ayay carecrowsay insteadyay ofyay illlingkay ethay owcray!" While everyday the pig was fooled by crows. Most lines of the song were like this but way more extreme. This caused the humans to go crazy and move out. The cockroach had a party inside the home with all of his friends and lived there as if they were the owners.

   They had their first problem when a person bought the house from the original owners and moved in. The scared animal friends attacked trying to prevent the old lady from getting in. However she moved in unconscious to the fact that she had furry "visitors" in the house. She however was constantly attacked. When the animals were caught she said, "Stupid animals get out!" The cockroach yelled, "No, yo stupid, thought I couldn't understand you?"  They settled down and became friends the lonely woman had animal friends and learned the languages when she was dying of disease the animals sung lovely songs for her and she died under the care of the animals who did the funeral. They tricked people into not coming in the house and the animals sung day and night living a life in a strange house. 

Music Magic

 Once upon a time there were 5 musicians. They played music with special abilities. The first one played rock and roll music which literally created rocks and made things roll. The second one played lullabies and could charm anything. The third musicians played classical music which could create classics and do anything with them. The fourth played jazz which made people zzzzzzzzzz. The fifth was just the best musician in the musician's world. They never met each other. They were admired by people around them. The four "superpower" musicians created a team. They clearly weren't the best musicians but were good enough that their power were useful. The fifth musician longed to join them but was refused. "Goodbye, Titi!" the 4 musician teased. Titi worked hard and managed to become as famous as them. They still didn't accept him. So Titi, made up his own power which was using music skills. With piano's and pedals and high pitched instruments he made annoying frequencies. He also used different dynamics to change mood. Also playing sudden notes to scare people. He still wasn't accepted because people claimed anyone could do that. This inspired Titi to make his own group of good musicians to do those things and be "superheroes"
