Secret Meadows

Once upon a time there was a Secret Meadow everyone in this world lived in it, from the smallest bug to the largest Giraffe. One day, some creatures decided to see the world above the tranquil place. At about the same time the meadow started to become less and less perfect. A rabbit named Hoppy was brave enough to come out and see the world around them. All she could see was the peaceful green grass and the occasional soft breeze that tickled her feet. Once she went out she couldn't see anything except barren yellow sugar. Or at least that was what she thought it was, one taste and she spit it right out. Traveling farther she noticed some smoke. What is that? she was thinking, what is this, and what happened here? She traveled all across the world and yet all she could see was yellow, it was so dry and hot, but it always rained just when she needed it. In the distance, she saw some strange creatures, one she never had seen before. They looked a lot like turtles only larger and older. She greeted them, "Hello, what are you doing out here?"

"We are staying here in this uncomfortable world, until our friends come back to get us." 

"Why?" 

"They are in space trying to bring water to our desert world." 

"Then come with me my meadow is paradise for all of you!!"

After that they went, but nothing changed, and soon the desert started coming in and overlapping into the meadow, and the creatures were forced to smaller and smaller areas. Finally, Hoppy lead them all into the desert. The rain followed them, and the water made the whole desert a happy place for all the creatures to play in.
