I have don't like doing titles I want to name them something short, I have posts called "Jokes" "More Jokes", "Jokes, Jokes Jokes" and so on. I don't like naming creative titles because they are too much work, I'd rather work on the body than the title.
Anyway, (WHY DO I ALWAYS HAVE TO SAY ANYWAY) anyway, Today I had one of the most tiring hiking trips ever, in the whole world. First of all, going up made me sleepy, not tired, but SLEEPY. Going down was worse, it made me feel tired and scared at the same time. Though, as in all hiking trips, at the end you feel really really good.
In the beginning it was really nice, except for the steep slope it felt good being out in the wind and getting the pleasure of hiking, after going down my problems started, I drank to much water and my stomach hurt, I was slowed down and started to feel tired. I eventually caught up again, but a new uphill slope slapped right in front of me created another huge barrier. Every break felt so good, sitting down made me feel like I never wanted to get up again. When I finally reached the end, a huge downhill grade made me feel scared, which systematically slowed me down, I was so slow I had the short cut just to keep me from falling behind too much. After that experience, I just wanted to go back to my bed and sleep forever. One last stroke of effort brought me down to the last downhill slope... and at the end I tripped. that feeling came again, I just wanted to sleep and never get up again. I did, my dad's encouraging words and the desire to go home and sleep (or play video games) brought me up what I thought was the final slope ... only to find another 0.3 miles to the parking lot. On the car, I felt proud of what I did. Thinking about it now, I know my dad helped me through the whole ride.
